My name is Kristen.
I’m a Cemetery Administrator from Johnstown, PA, and I’ve always had an interest in Civil War History. I majored in History in College, and Living History has always been one of my passions. For the past almost ten years, I have done living history/re-enacting for 19th Century, Civil War & Medieval eras (SCA).
I have been a tour guide and a national park volunteer for the past 10 years. I continue to study the civil war and other historical eras. As a Daughter of Union Veterans, and an Auxiliary Member to the Sons of Union Veterans, I believe in the importance of teaching the public about our nation’s past and the lessons we can learn from it.
In the future, I hope to do presentations on Civil War Nurses or Clara Barton. As a recent new member of the Blue & Gray, I am eager to learn more on the subject and to do more living history in one of my favorite time periods!
