Dr. Jon Willen is a retired Infectious Disease physician currently living in Washington DC, after practicing in West Hills California for 37 years.
He is a speaker for the National Museum of Civil War Medicine and is a frequent lecturer to Civil War groups on the topic of Civil War Medicine.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Civil War Surgeons.
Dr. Willen has been a medical reenactor portraying both Union and Confederate army surgeons for over 20 years.
