William Campbell

Dr. Bill Campbell is a Professor of Nursing at Salisbury University (SU) in Salisbury, MD. As a Registered Nurse (RN) and a Doctor of Education he has taught pediatric nursing, history of nursing, pharmacology, and developmental psychology both at SU and at Delaware Technical & Community College over the past 30 years

He is a speaker and docent for the National Museum of Civil War Medicine and is a frequent lecturer to Civil War and nursing groups on the topic of Civil War Medicine, nursing, hospital stewards, Fort Delaware, and Florence Nightingale.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, MD.

Dr. Campbell has been a living history interpreter speaking about and portraying Union & Confederate Army Surgeons, Union Hospital Stewards, and nurses for over 12 years.
